Sea Sisters Smoked Rainbow Trout – British Tinned Fish

£10.00

Product Description

Sustainably Sourced | Hand-Crafted | Packed with Flavour

Award-winning smoked trout, gently oak-smoked and preserved in high-quality extra virgin olive oil. A silky, savoury staple from British cannery Sea Sisters - ideal for light lunches, grazing boards, and gourmet pantry moments.

Sea Sisters Smoked Rainbow Trout is made in small batches in Dorset using fish from high-welfare, UK-based farms. Inspired by the Spanish and Portuguese conservas tradition, each fillet is hand-cured, lightly smoked over oak, and tinned with care to lock in rich, mellow flavour.

Naturally rich in Omega-3s and high in protein, this rainbow trout is a sustainable alternative to mass-farmed fish - endorsed by the Marine Conservation Society.

Whether you’re layering it onto sourdough, flaking it into a salad, or pairing it with soft-boiled eggs, this beautifully balanced tin is a quiet showstopper.

Perfect For:

  • Open sandwiches with pickles, cream cheese, or eggs

  • Luxury picnic spreads or aperitivo boards

  • Protein-packed weekday lunches

  • Pantry gifting or thoughtful foodie hampers

  • Pairing with other Sea Sisters tins or artisan crackers

FAQ’s

Where is Sea Sisters Rainbow Trout sourced from?

Sea Sisters sources trout from responsibly managed UK farms that focus on sustainability, water conservation, and fish welfare. These farms prioritise low-density environments, ensuring healthier fish and a cleaner ecosystem.

How is the trout smoked?

Each fillet is traditionally oak-smoked in small batches, allowing the natural flavour of the fish to shine. The process is gentle and slow, creating a subtle smokiness that complements the trout’s rich, buttery texture.
