Spicy Bloody Mary — The Brunch Hero (Made with Big Tom)

Every good brunch deserves a Bloody Mary - but ours comes with a twist.

We use Big Tom Tomato Juice, a ready-spiced British classic that brings just the right kick of heat and savoury depth without the faff. Add a splash of vodka, a squeeze of lemon, and your preferred level of Tabasco, and you’ve got the perfect cocktail for lazy weekends and sociable mornings.

You’ll Need

  • 50ml vodka

  • 150ml Big Tom

  • A few drops of Cool Chile Habanero Hot Sauce(optional — Big Tom already has a kick)

  • A pinch of Asilia Chilli, Pepper Salt

  • A wee drop of Perello Picanate Cocktail Olives

  • Ice

To Make

Fill a tall glass with ice.

Pour in the vodka and Big Tom, a dash of hot sauceif you fancy more heat, and a pinch of salt.

Stir gently and garnish to suit your mood - we like, lemons, olives and a pickled chilli

Make It Your Own

  • Swap vodka for gin to make a Red Snapper.

  • Add horseradish for extra fire.

  • Garnish with celery, pickled chili, or even a crispy rasher of bacon for brunch theatre.
